One bag, double the benefits: The RECYCLE TRANSFORMER BACK 26 backpack bike bag by VAUDE transforms from a stylish everyday backpack into a practical bike bag for the way home in the blink of an eye. All you have to do is stow the shoulder straps in the storage compartment and then hide them behind the front flap to expose the carrier side with the tried-and-tested QMR 2.0 system. Simply hook it into your bike rack, secure it and off you go!

When you have reached your destination, simply fold the flap back over and free the shoulder straps. This commuting bag also has a spacious main compartment with a laptop sleeve and organiser. Highlights & Technologies:

QMR 2.0:
The second generation of the QUICK MOUNT RELEASE (QMR) hook: even easier to use and can be directly locked onto the hook (for example with ABZS 145/20 padlock, optionally available under product code: 2269016). Thanks to included adapters, the QMR hooks fit a wide range of different tube diameters (8-16 mm). Simply choose the appropriate adapter for your rack, fit it into the QRM hook of the bag, adjust the hook’s position with the horizontal dial if need be and hook the bag on the rear rack with just one click. An additional hook on an elliptical ring allows for individual adjustments to the vertical line of the luggage rack.

RECYCLED PA:
For this product, VAUDE uses some robust, lightweight and fast-drying polyamide yarn. These are surplus materials and leftovers from textile production, which are collected, cleaned, processed and turned into yarn.

RECYCLED PET:
The polyester yarn in this product comes (in part) from PET bottles that have been collected, cleaned and processed into granulate. This saves energy, emissions and resources in the manufacturing process of the functional material.

VENT-TEX:
Thanks to an integrated back reinforcement, this backpack sits stably and comfortably even on a multi-day bike tour. In addition, this back system ensures packing stability. When it gets tough, you can feel that your back is always optimally ventilated thanks to the large ventilation channel along the spine.

PVC FREE:
This VAUDE seal means that this product is made entirely without PVC (polyvinylchloride). The material used looks like lorry tarpaulin and is just as durable and waterproof, yet consists of polyurethane coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticizers (phthalates) that are suspected of having negative health impacts.

GREEN SHAPE:
Products with VAUDE's own label fulfil various manufacturer-specific requirements with regard to environmental and social factors, including, for example, material-efficient design, durability, recyclability and reparability. VAUDE checks the entire product life cycle when awarding this label. According to the manufacturer, all VAUDE articles with this label are PFC-free, are largely made from recycled or bio-based materials and also bear the GREEN BUTTON seal.

GRÜNER KNOPF (“GREEN BUTTON”):
The German textile seal GRÜNER KNOPF (“Green Button”) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. This seal also verifies corporate due diligence with regard to defined human rights and ecological criteria. The basis of the verification of theses standards is partly carried out via third-party, independent meta-labels. The publisher of the GREEN BUTTON seal is the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
