The Smart Sam from Schwalbe with its modern off-road tread is a best-seller with excellent all-round properties. Narrow cross knobs on the compact centre tread ensure optimum ground contact and a smooth rolling behaviour of the MTB clincher tyre. In combination with fine cross lamellas and angular outer knobs, the tread pattern provides high grip and cornering safety even on loose surfaces. A perfect compromise for all those who frequently switch between road and off-road riding with their MTB, whether with or without motor assistance.
The tyre's tried-and-tested ADDIX rubber compound impresses with high durability and good shock absorbency. Last but not least, it provides a high level of grip, except for riding on deep sandy or muddy grounds. In this case, the Magic Mary (prod. code 2306317) would be a better choice, at least on the rear wheel. As an excellent all-terrain tyre, Schwalbe's Smart Sam combines the most important properties for varied tours on and off the road. In addition to classic black, the stylish version with Bronze-Skin sidewall adds the popular retro look.
